Terms of Business
Made between the student and Vital Training and Communications UK Ltd. trading as Impact International College hereafter called the College. 
- The course fees will be paid per term, annually or by arrangement divided into equal payments by the student to the College either by cash, cheque, direct debit, credit/debit card or the bank transfer.
- In the event of a visa being refused (upon application of the visa outside of the UK and excluding a visa renewal) the full fee will be refundable less £150.00 and if appropriate less the banks processing fee providing the student has not commenced studying and is not in the UK and providing the original Visa Refusal Notice and all original documents
(where applicable) are provided and returned to the College. The visa refund process takes a minimum of 28 working days, approximately 6 weeks. - It is a condition that all original documents (where applicable), original Visa Refusal Notice and receipts are returned by post/hand to the college and without these documents NO REFUND can be processed.
- The visa refusal must be for the relevant course date as stated on the last Certificate of Enrolment issued.
- If the visa refusal contains any wording to the effect that a visa is refused because a document provided by the student may be not genuine or fraudulent documents provided then the College will make deduction of 50% of the fees paid.
- If the 10 Points are not awarded to the student due to incorrect information or forged documents being porvided ONLY 50% of the fees deposit will be refunded on condition that all required documents for refund are submitted.
- If you wish to withdraw from the course, but do not have a visa refusal there is no refund whatever the exceptional circumstances but we are prepared to hold your course open.
- A £40.00 registration fee applies (non refundable) on acceptance of your application.
- There is absolutely NO REFUND whatever the exceptional circumstances if the student for whatever reason fails to apply for the visa or changes their mind about applying for a visa even if the College changes the course or course structure or if the UKBA introduces new rules that may affect your application.
- There is no refund if your application is refused due to an administrative error on the part of the student or their representative (e.g. funds not in the bank account for sufficient time etc.), as you will be asked to resubmit your application and be responsible for the costs.
- Impact International College reserves the right to cancel the application if student does not apply for a student visa within 6 months from the date the CAS Number has been issued and there is absolutely NO REFUND whatever the exceptional circumstances.
- For overseas Students applying for Visa’s in the United Kingdom or students that do not have to apply for Visa’s in the United Kingdom or have a current Visa and have paid fees whether they have commenced studies or are waiting to commence studies there is a policy of absolutely NO REFUND whatever the exceptional circumstances.
- If you decide to appeal against the visa refusal no refund will be given unless we receive copies of the decision not to issue a visa or a letter from the Embassy stating the appeal has been withdrawn.
- The course includes Fees only and excludes the cost of course books, exam fees and other training materials with the estimate cost being approx £250 P.A. Any training material given, lost or mislaid will be the responsibility of the student, and to replace at cost. Accommodation, Travel, Living Expenses are excluded from the course fees.
- There is a minimum limit of two examination retakes per subject under the UKBA rules and all retaken examinations and resubmission of projects must be paid for in advanceand the fees are published on the notice boards.
- If a student wishes to change the course once the student visa is issued, this can only be done with the College permission and the student may need to reapplyl for the student visa.
- The student will be required to study a minimum of 15 hours per week excluding breaks and your total study time to include homework, preparation, assignments etc will not be less than 21 hours per week.
Continuous admission to the course is subject to:
A Attendance of at least 85%, or as required by the UKBA
B Payment of fees
C Time keeping
D Good behaviour and attitude
- We reserve the right that should your attendance fall below the required percentages and without completing the correct Absence Form we reserve the right to offer your session to another student without notice and offer you an alternative time of our choice and your original time will be re-offered when there is sufficient space available.
- In the event of note 14 being breached, the College reserves the right to dismiss the student from the course and inform the relevant authorities dealing with visa applications that the student has been dismissed.
- In the event of the student being dismissed no refund will be made whatsoever whether part or full fees have been paid.
- If the course is postponed or cancelled for more than 1 term then the student will receive a full refund.
- We reserve the right to increase the fees as required without advanced notice.
- Courses are constantly being modified and therefore the College reserves the right to change the course, the tutor and the classroom as it thinks fit without notice.
- You should be aware that information about your enrolment, attendance and progress at the College may be passed to the Immigration & Nationality Directorate of the Home Office for the purpose connected with Immigration.
- Host Family Fees once paid are none refundable whatever the exceptional circumstances.
- The fees payable are due before the commencement of your course.
- Whilst we try to ensure the accuracy of the information and advise given, the requirements relating to visas are complex and change frequently. You should therefore check the requirements which apply to you on the UKBA website. Impact International College cannot therefore accept responsibility for any inaccuracy or error in it's information or advice.
- ACCA Students whilst studying at this institution agree to give their consent to the ACCA disclosing their examination results to Impact International College.
- Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) will only be assigned by Impact International College if all required information is received and correct to enable a visa to be issued.
NOTE: By virtue of you receiving this course Acceptance Agreement and an unconditional offer, and as it is being published at our website and being printed in our brochure it is deemed that you agree to accept this Agreement even if you have NOT commenced your course.
